Morocco Itinerary: Group Tour from Marrakech 4 Days

Day 1: Marrakesh – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazat – Rose Valley – Dades Gorges:

Our team will meet you at the meeting point (Jamaa el-Fna Square). The group tour starts from Marrakech by driving towards Kasbah Aitbenhadou via the highest pass in Africa Tizi N’ Tichka (Altitude 2260 m ) while enjoying the superb views of the giant High Atlas Mountains with the panoramic Berber villages. We continue the journey to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Aït Benhaddou. Situated on a hill along the Ouarzazate River, This beautiful example of southern Moroccan architecture has been used as a backdrop for over 20 famous movies including Lawrence of Arabia, Game of Thrones, The Mummy, and Gladiator. We pass by Ouarzazat one major Berber city in southern Morocco known as the Hollywood of Africa and by the rose valley and overnight in a hotel in the Dades Gorges.

Day 2: Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga:

After breakfast in your hotel, we leave the Dades Gorges and head to Todra Gorges Gorge via Tinghir and the lush valley of Todra where you will have a little hike along the narrow and high cliffs of Todra. In the afternoon we arrive at the Merzouga desert where you get ready and be accompanied by a camel guide to go for an authentic camel trek experience with the group of around 90 minutes where you can catch the sunset in the heart of the Erg Chebbi dunes and spend a memorable night with millions of shiny stars, enjoy a Berber dinner, drum party and sleep in a traditional nomadic tent or a luxury tent.

Day 3 : Merzouga- Alnif- Tazarine – Agdz – Ouarzazat:

After an early wake-up to watch the sunrise, you will ride your camels back to your hotel for taking a shower and eat breakfast. Afterward, we will cross the Tizi N’Tinifift pass (Altitude 1460m) and arrive at Ouarzazat. Overnight in a hotel.

Day 4: Ouarzazat – Ait benHaddou – Telouet -Marrakech :

Half of the fourth day is devoted to exploring Ouarzazat one major Berber city. Southern Morocco is known as the Hollywood of Africa. Next is another visit to Kasbah Taourirt or the old city of Ouarzazate which was essential. Residence of the Pacha of Marrakech in the south.
