We will start our adventure in the morning around 8:00 am from your accommodation in Merzouga or at your desert camp. We will travel approximately 1 km to the SafSaf Oasis near the Algerian border also it’s close to the famous Erg Chebbi Dunes.
We will stop wherever we see a beautiful landscape to enjoy the stunning scenery while traveling. On our journey, we will visit a nomadic family, enjoying a customary welcome tea together in the cozy shade of a Berber tent. It’s a great opportunity for you to learn about the Nomad’s life and learn some words in Tamazight.
We will continue our day trip from Merzouga to Safsaf Oasis until we arrive at our destination, the SafSaf Oasis. This amazing location is surrounded by high, deserted hills, a wild palm tree with lush vegetation, and a river with the same name (SafSaf), where you can bathe. Here, in this idyllic setting, we will have a Moroccan-Berber lunch.
