Itinerary of the 3 Days Tour from Marrakech to Merzouga

DAY 1: MARRAKECH – AIT BENHADDOU – DADES VALLEY :

We will pick up you from your (Hotel or Riad, or the airport) and then we will start our 3 Days Tour from Marrakech to Dades Gorges Pasting by Tizi-n-Tichka High Atlas, with far-reaching views across the mountains, to the traditional Berber villages then we continue to Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou to visit the UNESCO World Heritage, you will have lunch at Ait Benhaddou, Then passing by Hollywood city to visit the atlas studios and we continue to Dades gorges through roses and Dades valley, we will spend the night in a Riad or hotel in Dades gorges

DAY 2: DADES – TODRA GORGES – MERZOUGA:

After breakfast, we go from Dades Gorges to Erg Chebbi Sahara desert in Merzouga. Berber villages are scattered along the way, we’ll pass through Todra Gorges, Tenhir, Tinjdad, Jorf, and Erfoud in which we’ll feel the beginning of the Sahara Desert oasis of Tafilalet, and then we continue to an Auberge in Merzouga, after relaxing few minutes you will take some of your luggage in a small bag (the necessary for the night in desert) and leave the other luggage in the Auberge, then we will ride t camels on an adventure crossing the erg Chebbi sand dunes, this is a great opportunity to take the awesome pictures of the sunset and sunrise.

When we arrive at the camp we will leave the camels and we walk to the highest sand dunes of 250 Meters to watch the sunset, we will spend the night in a camp (the nomad tents) with drums and music in the middle of the Sahara Desert.

DAY 3: MERZOUGA – DRAA VALLEY – MARRAKECH:

Today we will enjoy the beautiful desert sunrise in Merzouga. Then we ride camels back to the village of Merzouga. Arriving back in Merzouga and after breakfast, we’ll drive towards Ouarzazate passing Agdez and Draa valley. Finally, we continue to Marrakech passing the Tizi ‘n’ Tichka mountain pass, and the tour finishes in Marrakech. Hence the end of our Marrakech desert tour 3 days.
