Itinerary 1: New Year’s Eve Celebration in Merzouga Desert / 3 Days from Marrakech to Merzouga:

Day 1: 30/December: MARRAKECH – AIT BENHADDOU – DADES VALLEY:

We will pick up you from your (Hotel or Riad, or the airport) and then we will start our New Year’s Tour from Marrakech to Dades Gorges Pasting by Tizi-n-Tichka High Atlas, with far-reaching views across the mountains, to the traditional Berber villages then we continue to Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou to visit this UNESCO World Heritage, you will have lunch at Ait Benhaddou, Then passing by Hollywood city to visit the atlas studios and we continue to Dades gorges through roses and Dades valley, we will spend the night in a Riad or hotel in Dades gorges

DAY 2: 31/December: DADES – New Year’s Eve Night in Merzouga Desert:

That day is the waited big day of the last night of the year and the night of New Year’s Eve. After breakfast, we go from Dades Gorges to Erg Chebbi Sahara desert in Merzouga. Berber villages are scattered along the way, we’ll pass through Todra Gorges, Tenghir, Tinjdad, Jorf, and Erfoud in which we’ll feel the beginning of the Sahara Desert oasis of Tafilalet, and then we continue to an Auberge in Merzouga, after relaxing few minutes you will take some of your luggage in a small bag (the necessary for the New Year’s party night in desert) and leave the other luggage in the Auberge, then we will ride t camels on an adventure crossing the erg Chebbi sand dunes, this is a great opportunity to take the awesome pictures of the sunset.

When we arrive at the luxury camp we will leave the camels and we will enter a luxury camp to Celebrate New Year’s Eve in the Desert of Merzouga. We will purchase a ticket to enter the camp and attend the Berber Gnawa music show and the Berber folklore (Ahidous). They will serve us dinner and then the party begins. We will dance and enjoy the vibe as it’s the last day of your life not of the year! At 12:50 midnight, the audience will start counting to the New Year and be ready to shoot the fireworks. The party will be continued until sunrise. You will admire the charming starry sky and the Gnawa music with the Berber traditions; New Year’s Eve in the Merzouga desert is really an extraordinary one. Finally, we continue to Marrakech passing the Tizi ‘n’ Tichka mountain pass, and the New Year tour finishes in Marrakech. Hence the end of your New Year’s Eve vacation in Morocco.
